Oil Paint Gallery
Used
by artists for centuries, oil paint is made by combining pigment
(a dry ground color) with an oil (usually linseed) to create a
smooth viscous paint. Due to the oil content, oil paintings take
a long time to dry. I prefer to use paints by Gamblin and Maimeri
since they hold their color (no yellowing over time). |
